What did you gain from attending the retreat?
One word “Openness which is indescribable in many ways.
• My body feels open if this is possible, I feel taller not afraid of what life will throw at me, but stronger in myself and restored.
• I have a great sense of relief, hope and peace within myself.
• I feel like I have found the real me again, which I accept fully and rejoice in myself.
• My tears were released on the retreat, they for me represent the opening just letting them flow and to be able to experience not only the great sadness but the joy of being able to let them go.
• The combination of the theme of Chakra’s, yoga and group work all made this possible and I know my readiness to work on these things helped.
• I also learnt how important, no essential it is for me to have a week to myself in a nurturing environment, to refresh and recharge.
Life changing – Thank you!

Further comments about the Yoga
Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!! The sessions were everything I had dreamed of and more. The music and the moves relating to the Chakras were inspirational, it must have taken some planning but well worth it for the participants. I will treasure those moments of looking out to the gardens and being so focused, it still brings tears to my eyes.
The time 7am and 4pm were perfect for me.

Could you describe what to expect for others considering attending the retreat.
The retreat is a perfect time to escape from an ever-increasing busy world. The combination of yoga and group work complemented each other, allowing the retreat members to explore in-depth the mind, body and spirit in a safe and nurturing environment. Added to this wonderful nurturing experience, you have at Malati Cottages away from the busy world to truly retreat. If you need to step back into reality you just need to step out of the gates to be part of all Ubud can offer. From my experience, the retreat is what you make of it. To not only be a part of a peaceful and restorative journey but at the same time enjoy the companionship of being in a group and the wonders of Bali.
